Rainbow flooring
An expressively distinct, beautiful floor that is a work of art by itself. This solid timber floor is uniquely forged and formed using 5 different timbers, under high pressure. The result is an extremely hard wearing solid timber floor radiating in grain and texture.

Manufacturing process:

Rainbow Flooring
1. Is created by mechanically stripping timber branches,
2. Then after boiling in a water and boric acid solution to remove sugars (a termite attractant) and to inhibit fungus and mold growth.
3. The strips are dried and the material is woven with Dyno, an extremely low VOC plasticizer from Norway.
4. Then it is crushed in a 2000-ton heat press that operates at 265F.
5. This strand woven board is then milled in a laser-guided mill that makes very accurate cuts so each board you receive is cut just like every other board that comes out of the shipping carton.
6. After milling, the strand woven boards are sanded and coated with an 8-coat build-up process with Aluminum Oxide Finish.
